Inspired Lindi Bag Genuine Togo Leather Shoulder Bag - Dark Purple

Although I have been passionate about the Birkin and Kelly inspired handbags, this gorgeous Lindy-inspired design was an exciting departure for me. What first caught my attention was its distinctive silhouette and, of course, that incredible color. I love brilliant and unusual shades, and this rich, jewel-toned purple is absolutely stunning—a color that is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to find in traditional retail stores.

The design is unlike anything else in my collection. Its roomy rectangular shape has a softer, more relaxed silhouette, while the distinctive front flap, gold-toned turn-lock and double-zip closure give the bag its own unique character. The gold-toned hardware looks particularly beautiful against the deep purple leather. I also love the functionality of the double zippers, which allow the top of the bag to open widely for easy access to the entire interior. It is a wonderful combination of style and practicality.

The pebbled Togo leather is gorgeous—soft and supple with a luxurious texture. Rather than being rigidly structured, the bag has a slightly slouchy quality that makes it especially comfortable and practical for everyday use while still retaining its beautiful shape.

Another feature that won me over is the versatility of the carrying options. The two side handles can be used to carry the bag by hand, drawing the sides inward and giving it a more compact slouchy silhouette. The longer center strap allows it to be carried comfortably on the shoulder, which is my personal preference. The interior is generously sized and completely open, providing plenty of unobstructed space for everyday essentials.

The craftsmanship is everything I have come to expect from Handsewgift. The stitching is beautifully executed, the leather feels luxurious, and the gorgeous hardware is a striking finishing touch. From every angle, the quality and attention to detail are evident.

That same level of care continues with the packaging and shipping. The handbag is carefully padded and protected inside the box to preserve its shape and ensure it arrives in pristine condition. The exterior shipping box is securely taped and covered with an additional protective layer of plastic for added protection during transit.

I am so pleased that I ventured beyond my usual Birkin and Kelly inspired favorites with this one. Love this cute little bag. After I placed my order, I received a confirmation, but it took a week to get confirmation that my bag was on its way. Shipping from China was via air and a local private carrier, which took about a week. It arrive fully assembled and delightfully well made. I’m definitely going to order more bags.

I was very pleased with this handbag overall. The leather is soft and feels like excellent quality, the stitching is neat and well done, and the bag looks exactly as I expected for the price. It has a beautiful design and I’m really enjoying carrying it.

My only issue was that one of the zipper pull tabs came off because the small O-ring wasn’t completely closed. Thankfully, I was able to repair it myself in just a couple of minutes. Unfortunately, I did scratch the O-ring a little while using my needle-nose pliers, but that’s on me—not the bag itself.

While I do think the hardware should be checked a little more carefully before shipping, it was a minor issue and certainly not enough to keep me from buying again. Overall, I think this bag is an excellent value, and I would absolutely purchase from this seller again and recommend them to others.

This bag is very well made, the stitching is beautiful, the leather is stunning. It’s a tiny bit stiff but as it gets used I’m absolutely sure it’ll soften up. Love it so much I’m thinking of ordering it in black.

I have ordered a couple bags from handsewgift.com I have been very happy with my purchases. The price is right. Great customer service. They’re always coming out with something new. Enjoy going to their website and looking at all the beautiful handbags that they have. I definitely recommend them.

Usually a five star but unfortunately not this time … ordered small Lindy , texted and called to make sure I was getting the short strap as pictured … my last one had a long strap … was promised that that is what came with the small bag … it wasn’t . Started making the bag thinking they could send me the short strap but apparently they didn’t have it . Would not have ordered the Lindy if I had known ,there are others I like .. really no way for them to make it right so it is what it is. By the way I have made many bags .. Lindy is no way a bag for beginners !
